On Friday April 8, 2016, the National Honors Society held a Karaoke Night inside of Malden High School’s gallery. The event was coordinated by senior NHS members Jessica Munroe, Pema Kunsal and Michelle Huang.
Tickets were sold for five dollars each as spectators got to come and watch their teachers and fellow classmates perform their favorite songs. Popcorn, snacks, and refreshments were provided for all of the participants and the audience. All of the proceeds from the event were donated to veterans.
Students and teachers performed songs in genres ranging from pop to classical hip-hop. Performing the grand finale was Principal Dana Brown who sang after continued requests from students and other teachers to do so.
