Bring On Black Friday

Pack your sleeping bags and start brewing your coffee, Black Friday is around the corner with stores already releasing their best deals and sales. Use this guide to find out times and locations for Black Friday.

These top stores are great to shop at for their wide selections and low prices that you cannot beat on Black Friday. They offer a mix of both women’s and men’s apparel  with the exception of home decor and appliances at the department stores. Places you can visit in-store include:

  • Walmart: starts on Thursday at 6 p.m.
  • Target: opens on Thanksgiving night
  • Kohls: Thursday at 8 p.m. to Friday at 1 p.m.
  • JC Penney: Thursday at 8 p.m.
  • Sears: Thursday at 8 p.m.
  • Staples: Thursday 9 p.m.
  • Best Buy: Thursday 6 p.m.
  • Forever 21: Friday morning
  • H&M: Friday morning
  • Brandy Melville: (Newbury Street location) Friday until noon
  • TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Homegoods: 8 a.m. Friday
  • Urban Outfitters: Friday morning
  • Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack: Friday morning
  • Pacsun: 8 p.m. Thursday
  • Macy’s: Thursday 8 p.m.
  • Dick’s Sporting Goods: Thursday 8 p.m.
  • Modell’s :Thursday 8 p.m.
  • American Eagle Outfitters: Thursday 8 p.m.
  • Hollister: 8 p.m. Thursday
  • Abercrombie and Fitch: 8pm Thursday
  • Victoria’s Secret: Friday 12 a.m.

These locations, local and a little out of the way, have all the major stores to hit. Some may have better selections though others may be at a more convenient distance, but it is your preference of which shopping center to go to.

  • Square One Mall*: 1201 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906
  • South Shore Plaza:  250 Granite St, Braintree, MA 02184
  • Prudential Center/Copley Place Mall*: 800 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02199
  • Kittery Outlet: 306 U.S. 1, Kittery, ME 03904
  • Merrimack Outlet: 100 Industrial Drive, Merrimack, NH
  • Newbury Street*: Back Bay area of Boston
  • Harvard Square*:  JFK St, Cambridge, MA 02138
  • Davis Square*: where Holland Street, Dover Street, Day Street, Elm Street, Highland Avenue, and College Avenue meet in Cambridge
  • Downtown Boston*

*Places with a star are easily accessible with public transportation, including MBTA buses and trains.
