Golden Tornados Overpowered by Everett Tide in 75-40 Defeat

After a glimpse of hope with a strong win against Revere just two games ago, the Golden Tornados were defeated 75-40 by its rival, the Everett Tide. With just a few games left the team will look to make a final push for pride with their last game being against Acton-Boxborough.

Thomas Tierney is a new member of The Blue & Gold this year. Thomas is currently in his junior year at Malden High School. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is of Irish and British descent. At Malden High, Thomas is currently the boys varsity soccer goalkeeper. He hopes to play at the next level in a Divison 2 or 3 collegiate setting. When he is not making saves in front of the net, Thomas enjoys playing video games like Madden NFL, NBA 2K and Call of Duty. He also loves watching his favorite show, The Walking Dead, and watching movies in the Marvel Universe. Thomas is a part of the travel club where in his sophomore year, he went to Puerto Rico. Thomas chose to take the Blue & Gold this year because he heard that it was very interesting and he loves writing.
