Malden High School’s Fine Arts Club has not disappointed in their fundraising. Just this year, the club has held Zombie Tag and a pumpkin painting event. Since the holiday season is upon us, the Fine Arts Club has created a Gingerbread “(Wo)men” fundraiser. They are being sold for $2 at all four lunches up until Dec. 18, 2015.

The Gingerbread (wo)men are a great idea for holiday gifts for your friends, or to keep for yourself. On Dec. 18, 2015, if you bought a gingerbread (wo)man, there will be a Gingerbread decorating party in art teacher, Joseph Luongo’s room, H309. You may choose to have a Fine Arts Club member decorate your gingerbread for you, or decorate it yourself.

Joseph Luongo and MaryAnn Seager are the advisors for the club. Not only are the fundraisers fun, and exciting, but they are for great causes. This one in particular, will help give a donation to the holiday fund. Luongo, on the Fine Arts Club and where the money is going to, said “ The Fine Arts club, in general, always gives a donation, and especially this year, as I said earlier to someone, I was really saddened, and shocked at how many homeless kids there are in the high school, so we’ve already given a check to Ms. Sullivan, who coordinates the holiday fund for Malden High School.”
