Coming out of hibernation, the Bruins rock the NHL with a ranking of first in the Atlantic division.  With winter coming to an end the team does not stop, dominating the east and preparing for the new spring season. With a current record of 42-17-5 the Bruins are certainly not a force to be messed with.

Although the team continues to have a great season they seemed to be lacking at the the NHL Trade. Spots left by Denis Seidenberg due to his season ending injury and the continued absence of Adam McQuid were filled by Corey Potter and Andrej Meszaros.  The team seemed to make moves to strengthen their defense. Although these players have been added to the team it looks as though as they are just merely filling their spots without getting actual playing time. With guidance from recent Olympic teammates only time can tell how successful the team was at the 2014 trade.

The Bruins had tremendous success against the Florida Panthers on Mar. 9, 2014.  Beating the Panthers the previous night, the team once again persevered with a score of 5-2. After two periods the team was tied 1-1, putting the Bruins in a tough spot. In the third period the team began to overcome Florida and eventually pull a win for Boston.

With their current standing in the Atlantic division and dominance over other teams, the Bruins are looking towards a successful rest of the season.  With obvious hopes and a couple months left in the season, both the team and fans are hoping for another Stanley Cup performance.
