Chelmie Hyppolite is a 9th grader at Malden High School. Hyppolite has been living in Malden for her whole life, and she’s come from Linden Steam Academy. Hyppolite was born here but her parents originally come from Haiti. She speaks English and Creole. Hyppolite takes all honors classes but her favorite class so far is English. Hyppolite is on the freshman basketball team here at Malden High, and seems to be very excited for the new season coming up this year. Other than basketball, outside of school she enjoys shopping, as well as reading books. In the future, she hopes to be a news anchor and being a news reporter takes her attention. Overall Hyppolite’s desire is to be successful.
