After a long season of sprinting, lapping, and jumping hurdles, the Malden High track team concluded its season by commemorating its extensive group of over 20 senior student-athletes. The team gathered at the Malden Teen Enrichment Center (MTEC) on January 28 to honor the seniors’ contributions to the team and their final year running for Malden High track. The ceremony began with a speech by Cathy MacMillan, Head Coordinator of the MTEC, followed by a speech by Mayor Gary Christenson celebrating the team’s achievements. Afterwards, track coaches Marc Ferrara and Michel-Le Meranda called seniors one by one, handing out roses and senior posters.
