Jumping into a world of new types of attractions and amusements, the Nova Adventure Park garnered huge attention from guests in Malden and other cities. Roughly 2,000-2,500 guests attend daily, according to Nova employee sophomore Elijah Aurelus, a factor of these numbers being from Malden High students.
What makes Nova different from other attractions?
Prior to being introduced in Malden, there was a wide franchise of Nova and multiple locations could be found throughout the U.S. The first Nova established was located in Plymouth, Massachusetts and opened on February 16th of 2022.
Nova first started as a way to get young kids to limit their screentime by participating in physical activity and provide a way for children to relieve the stress during the peaks of the COVID-19 era. As the Nova franchise found success, they expanded across the country, further providing children nationwide with an equally exhilarating and stimulating experience.

With doors to the Malden location opening on December 20th 2025, Nova introduced a variety of different amusements unprecedented for a trampoline park in the area. Unlike other parks in the Greater Boston area like Skyzone in Everett, Aurelus added that they have arcades and ziplines in addition to having rocking climbing and trampoline sections. A guest favorite being a ride called “Skyrider,” which is a ride “where you go harness on this big zipline and you just swing across,” Aurelus expressed.
However, before people can begin to jump they have to sign a waiver, Aurelus noted. This is due to the risk of injury that comes with jumping at trampoline parks. Averaging around 2,000 guests daily, Nova can be chaotic at times due to its popularity. A system has been set in place in which guests gain two warnings to stop before being made to leave by a worker or manager. This helps manage the place as much as possible, preventing injuries and maintaining a controlled environment where families can enjoy themselves without constant disruption.
Located in the surrounding cities around Boston, before the establishment of Nova in Malden, the ideal trampoline parks were Skyzone in Everett and Get Air in Revere. Sophomore Loay Lyafori emphasized that ¨before Nova came to Malden I would usually go to Skyzone, but once Nova came out I saw that they had more options and I go to Nova with my family now.¨
Now that it has been in Malden for over a month, Nova has taken Malden High School by storm, with school vacations seeing a rise in visiting students. Sophomore Athan Agustin Palma expressed that going to Nova is great “especially if you go with friends.” He also added that his favorite part of the park was either the “parkour course” or the “bridge battle,” where you and someone else balance on a beam and both of you try to knock each other off. ¨To me, it’s not just about the trampolines,¨ Lyafori noted. ¨It’s the energy, and vibe and the fact that you’re almost guaranteed to run into someone you know from school.¨
Nova also differentiates itself using their “Glow” lights, where the standard overhead lights are swapped for neon laser and blacklights, showing the unique aspect of the trampoline park.
Instead of a monthly pass, which many competing parks in the area offer, Nova starts with a starting price of $20/for an hour, and $30/for 120 minutes. Palma believes that “it is worth the money” when factoring all the “different options you have.”
In Athan’s opinion, “Nova is 10 times better.”
The park makes itself stand out in many unique ways, with various different attractions that satisfy any type of jumper, from a casual weekend guest to a high-performance seeker. By offering many specialized zones like ninja warrior courses, interactive dodgeball courts, foam pits, and a football pitch, Nova ensures that the massive crowd that they can get remains spread out and engaged in activities suited to their age and likings.
