Dorothy Michel is a welcoming freshman at Malden High School and a new journalist for The Blue and Gold. She joined the course hoping to come out of her comfort zone. The pandemic was a big turning point in her life. She focused on self care and refreshed her relationships with new people. Michel is a big fashion enthusiast and thoroughly enjoys shopping. In her free time, she watches thriller and horror movies, her favorite show being ‘Stranger Things’. This year, Michel has signed up for two sports, track and tennis. She hopes to meet new people that have the similar interests as her. She also looks forward to her ASL (American Sign Language) class this year, and learning another language which is Creole. Michel is hoping that her next four years of high school will be extremely fun and eventful.
