Wrestling Profile: Fabrice Nabosse

Joanna Li February 22, 2016

With only a few months left until the end of the year for the seniors, their last moments to spend time with their friends and teachers are coming to a close. Currently on the wrestling team the only wrestler that will have to say goodbye to the team will be Fabrice Nabosse.

  1. What is the reason you joined the wrestling team?

The reason I really joined the sport is because I wanted to learn something new and also make new friends.

  1. What was your impression when you joined the wrestling team as a freshmen?

The first time I joined wrestling was just so I could lose weight or just be active. My first year I did not know what was I going to do. Wrestling just came to me as this sort of option.

  1. Besides wrestling, were there any other sports that you have participated in for the four years you have spent at MHS?

I have done several other sports such lacrosse and football. But I did not like them that much and I did them for only two years. Wrestling on the other hand I kept consistent because it was the only sport that I thought was cool because you it had a variety of ways to do things. I have learned so many moves. Lacrosse was also fun too but wrestling was different and it felt like I belonged there.

  1. What will you miss after you graduate?

When I graduate, wrestling is going to be the thing that I miss the most. I am not sure if I am going to do it in the future. But If I could go back in time to do better… I would because I would be even better if I worked harder and focused. But you can’t dwell on the past and all you have to do is just keep moving forward. Also throughout those four years I will remember the two best coaches, Coach Smith and Coach Paule. They taught me so much about wrestling and how to be responsible and how that contributed to my growing up.

  1. What do you think about your time at Malden High?

High school in general was simple and I made a lot of friends that I am not going to forget. I am going to miss it. It feels just like yesterday … I was a freshman and the teachers told us that our four years will be over in an instant and I did not believe them but look what happened, it just flew by.
