The Revere – Everett – Malden – Mystic Valley (REMM) co-ed team played the Somerville Highlanders Wednesday night, January 17th. They didn’t get the outcome they had hoped for, losing 10 – 2 with a score from Malden’s own senior Jake Simpson.

Shuyi Chen (she/her) is a first-year reporter at The Blue and Gold. Originally from Guangdong, China, she moved to Boston at a young age and settled in Malden during second grade. Shuyi enjoys watching movies, dining out with friends, and playing volleyball for Malden High’s varsity team. As of last year, she became a part of our varsity softball team as an outfielder. Engaged in various clubs such as the Shrub Club, Key Club, and Y-Leaders, she also holds the role as one of the Class of 2024 Social Media Coordinators.
