On October 18th, 2025, my sister and I were able to experience seeing one of our favorite K-pop groups, STAYC, perform in Fenway at MGM Music Hall. Boston was one of their last stops for their North American tour, with their last two stops being in New York, New York, and ending in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. STAYC is a 6-member South Korean girl group that debuted on November 12, 2020, consisting of members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J.
Upon entering MGM Music Hall, the area was filled with excited fans either purchasing merchandise, drinks, and food, or locating their seats. After going through a quick security check, my sister and I walked up the stairs to find our seats. One of my main concerns was that my seat would be far away from the stage or my view would be blocked by people sitting in front of me. But, as soon as I sat down, I felt at ease; the stage was close enough to see where I was sitting, and no one in front of me was able to block me.

While we were waiting, the speakers quietly played instrumental versions of STAYC’s songs. As soon as the clock reached 8:00 p.m., the lights dimmed, the speakers got louder, and the stage lights shone brighter, which made my heartbeat race. The big screen presented a video introduction of the tour and the members. As fans cheered loudly, the stage lifted, revealing the STAYC members, ready to perform for Boston.
The first song they sang was “BEBE”, followed by “1 Thing”, and then “Poppy”. Their live vocals surprised me as their voices were louder than the backing track. After finishing up the first three songs, the group came together and individually introduced themselves and expressed their excitement about performing in Boston for the first time.
After talking, they performed two more songs, which consisted of “ BEAUTIFUL MONSTER”, one of my favorite songs from them, and “Cheeky Icy Thang”, which had an amazing dance break near the end of the song, before returning to interacting with some of the fans standing near the front of the section.
Before their next set of songs played, a video played on the big screen, this video hinted at what songs STAYC would perform next. In this set, they performed in sub-units: the first group had members Sieun, Seeun, and J, who sang “Find”, a soft, dreamy song accompanied by a fun and fast beat. Next sub-unit was Sumin and Yoon, singing a powerful yet emotional song titled “Fakin’”. The last member, Isa, had a sensual R&B-like solo song titled “Roses”.The last song of this section was “YOUNG LUV”, my favorite song from their entire discography. This song, although emotional and soft, showed off their strong vocals, hitting many consistent high notes. They also presented an outfit change, showing off colorful ruffly dresses.

During their next break, they interacted with the crowd. The members talked with their fans, asking if they’d enjoyed the songs and mentioning the crowd’s big energy. Jokingly, they asked for food recommendations in Boston, like seafood and cannolis. One of the members, Sieun, asked the crowd if anyone attended any nearby universities, specifically Harvard, mentioning that when she was younger, she always wanted to go to Harvard.
The next two songs were “Beauty Bomb”, a fun upbeat song, and “Meant To Be”, a softer song which contrasted with “Beauty Bomb”. After that, they did an encore with “LOVE FOOL” from their “STAYDOM” single, “LIKE THIS” from their debut EP album, “Star To A Young Culture”, and finally, “COMPLEX” from their 1st EP album, “STEREOTYPE”.
Their next songs were super fun and summer-like, which gave the crowd some warmth during the cold October fall season. Their most recent song, “I WANT IT” was the first song sung. Then followed by “Bubble”, in which they used bubble machines, and ending with “Trouble Maker”. During “Trouble Maker”, Sumin gave a fan a GoPro, which had clips of her filming behind the scenes and coming to Boston.
They had another quick outfit change and sang “Twenty” and “GPT” –two soft, mellow songs– and “STEREOTYPE”, a fan-favorite song released on September 6th, 2021. This song also gave the group their first music show win–a tradition among many recently released Korean idol songs, competing for first place.
STAYC also taught the crowd part of the “GPT” dance, with member Sieun mentioning that while backstage, she lost her in-ear, which made her unable to listen to her vocals. Later, Seeun found it hanging behind her clothes. Sieun then commented on how she felt a little embarrassed.
As their break ended, the next three most popular songs, “RUN2U”, “ASAP”, and “Teddy Bear” were performed, which were all upbeat and fun songs, and where I sang along loudly. Once the songs ended, I checked the time, and it was 9:54 p.m. I felt sad knowing that the concert would soon end.
The last performance, before ending, consisted of the song “SO BAD”, their debut song. But when that ended, the members left the stage. The crowd thought the concert had officially ended. Wanting them to return, fans repeatedly chanted “STAYC”. Later on the screen, a video played, mentioning that they will come back, playing the songs “SO BAD” and “I WANT IT” for the fans waiting patiently.
The quick video then ended, with the room being lit up and the members starting to walk around the venue, specifically the floor section, waving, high-fiving, and taking pictures with the fans. While walking around, the song “Gummy Bear” played. Once they walked back up to the stage, the lights dimmed for the last time.

When the song ended, the members, in their last outfit change, sat down in white chairs and chatted one last time with the crowd about their final thoughts on their performance that night, taking turns talking from youngest to oldest member.
Lastly, they took a group photo and video, cherishing this moment performing in Boston. The last song they performed was “Stay WITH Me”, a tribute for their fans, making this moment feel surreal. They finally said their last goodbyes and went around the stage to bow.
