On Sunday, March 15th, the streets of South Boston were filled with energy in celebration as thousands of people gathered for the annual Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Dressed in green while  waving flags, crowds lined the parade route and packed nearby streets, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere. Alongside the celebration of Irish Heritage, the parade recognizes Evacuation Day, blending history with modern-day festivities. Police officers and historical reenactors of British Redcoats performed, honoring Boston’s role in the American Revolutionary War. From crowded sidewalks to packed local businesses and a jam-packed Orange line on MBTA, the event brought together people of all ages for one of Boston’s most well-known and highly attended traditions.
