Khkola Niazi

Khkola Niazi is a junior at Malden High School. She is originally from Afghanistan. Niazi is a Lead Reporter for The Blue and Gold. Despite her young age, she knows five languages: Turkish, French, Persian, English, and Pashto. At the age of nine, she started travelling to many different countries with her family, picking up languages along the way. Niazi enjoys challenging herself, so with the long list of languages, she is taking AP and honors classes. She is a co-founder of a non-profit called Zamima, a place where girls past sixth grade can be heard despite the restriction of not being in school. Niazi is a delegate for Youth and Government. She wants to study at MIT because of her love for mathematics, physics, and astronomy. She values family more than anything and looks up to her parents as her source of motivation. A sport Khkola plays is tennis.
