Attention all seniors:

As we transition into the second month of senior year, our class has already started planning for upcoming fundraisers and events which include:

  • The Yankee Candle Fundraiser.  It is not too late!  Forty percent of all purchases go directly to our class, but act fast, the fundraiser ends Wednesday, October 14 for both form and online orders.
  • The Housing Families Fundraiser.  The Class of 2016 has partnered with Housing Families to put on a benefit show on Saturday, November 7 at 7pm.  We are still looking for acts and crew members, and help selling ads.  This includes underclassmen who want to perform.  Check the Class of 2016’s Facebook page for updates about upcoming meetings and more information about the show.
  • Prom Committee.  Currently the committee is working on narrowing down a theme for prom, which will be held on Friday, May 20 at the State Room in Boston.  There is still so much to be done in preparation, and the class is always looking for help!  Check the Class of 2016’s Facebook page for updates about upcoming meetings.
  • Yearbooks.  The Maldonian has announced that the 2015 to 2016 yearbook is now on presale for $70.  Remember to upload your pictures to the ReplayIt app!

Also, congratulations to our senior year class officers: Samantha Forestier (President), Cassandra Reyes (Vice President), Sreypech Tham (Secretary), Lily Chen (Treasurer), Danielle Copson (Historian), Jilian Molokwu (Leadership Chair), and Lily Tran (Special Advisor).

Make sure to listen to the morning announcements, check Facebook or Twitter, and follow The Blue & Gold for more information about these fundraising opportunities and events, and the many more to come.
