“I’ve been playing sports all my life and have always found comfort in them. I feel that sports have 100% shaped my life. I feel my love for sports really started when I started playing football because football is a sport I can play well at my size. I’ve been cut from basketball teams because of my size but football is the one sport that really embraced my size and my whole goal in life is to go play football at the professional level.” #humansofmaldenhigh

Nick Powers is entering his junior year of high school, but only his second year at Malden High School. Powers transferred to MHS at the beginning of his sophomore year after leaving Malden Catholic. Powers joined the Blue and Gold this year to share his photography with the school. Powers' main interests are portrait and street photography as well as soho fashion. Powers' favorite music artists are Travis Scott and Kanye West. Powers hopes his knowledge and skill in photography will contribute to the Blue and Gold.
