Neapoli Cafe and Pizzeria

Olivia Descilien March 2, 2020

Have you been interested in any pizza places lately? Has any of them caught your attention right now? Well, check this one out!

The Neapoli Cafe and Pizzeria is a 4.3 star rated cafe on google that has been running for fifteen years. It is located on 43 Lebanon St, Malden, MA. The restaurant is known for its famous pizza, pasta, salads, and more. It is run by a family of four; its previous owner of the Cafe was Adil Essebbar. Since then, the business has gone on.

Ilham Essebbar, who is officially the new owner of the business, now plays a big part in the Neapoli Cafe. She is the daughter of the previous owner, Adil Essebbar. She was inspired into following her dad’s footsteps and taking action for the business. She stated that she wanted to do this for “family” purposes.

As the new owner of the cafe, she hopes that her business will continue to grow. She admits that she has a lot on her hands and knows that it will take lots of “responsibility.” In addition, Essebbar claimed that the cafe has looked the same as it did when it first opened, fifteen years ago, but she is willing to give the Cafe a new look and to make it as “presentable as possible.”

As a worker in the Neapoli Cafe, Essebbar feels that you should always have “patience.” Taking one minute to breathe during a busy shift and taking one minute to help a guest decide on their meal is much required when working in a restaurant. Essebbar believes that this is important because it could only make or break a customer’s experience. She also feels that “it is important to make her customers feel at home,” rather than anywhere else. “Having a smile on your face and remaining respectful is always a characteristic you should have working in the restaurant.”

Overall, Essebbar hopes that the restaurant will be a place where students will look forward to going after school to eat. She wants the Cafe to be a second home to students and adults in general. As so, from then she will be adding new features and designs to the restaurants and hopes to find more improvements into the cafe itself. Essebbar is also looking forward to using different strategies in making the Neapoli Cafe and Pizzeria known.
