Kamani Gomes is a 14 year old freshman currently attending Malden HIgh School. She’s lived in Malden for 7 years now and previously attended the Ferryway School before coming to MHS. Gomes is taking French and Journalism as her elective classes. She is also active in the Karaoke Club, Garden Club, and YMCA leaders club. Gomes also wanted to try something new, so she signed up for tennis and basketball but is looking forward to tennis the most, thought she has never played it. Gomes only speaks English but wants to learn Creole eventually. Outside of school, Gomes loves the environment in Starbucks where she spends her time with her friends.
