By FELICIA FALLANOAs February begins, red and pink candy and decorations are on the shelves of stores and love is in the air. It is time to start thinking about gift ideas for your significant other, or even just a friend. Sometimes it can be difficult figuring out what to get whether it will cost too much or if they are just difficult to buy for. When you can’t find a gift during Valentine’s Day there is always one thing you can turn to: candy! First, you are going to fill the mason jar with the candy. You can get a mason jar anywhere, like Michael’s Arts & Crafts Store or even your local dollar store. You are also going to need a large candy selection can which can be found at CVS or Walgreens. Also keep in mind that hard candies are not recommended because they can crack easily. Try a soft sort of candy such as gummies, chocolates, or something similar in texture. Then, you are going to start decorating the jar with the supplies you have gathered. After that, you are going to take two sheets of tissue paper and trace a circle. Then, when you are satisfied with how your circle looks, you can cut it out. Finally, you are going to proceed to put the circle on top of the lid and tie a strand of ribbon around it and into a bow to keep the tissue held together. This DIY is very simple, easy to create, and does not cost much, which is convenient if you are not looking to spend too much. It is a fun and more festive way of giving candy to your friend or significant other. Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with this decorative mason jar filled with sweet candy!
