Last Friday, an exhibition of artist Grace Julian-Murthy was hosted at The Gallery@57 presenting the mounting art of Murthy. Upon entering, Murthy’s artwork was posted up on a wall, as clear as day. Murthy’s artwork consisted of retro, cartoony, and vibrant illustrations, lighting the gallery with a spirited vibe. Though the wall had been seemingly small, it being filled with Murthy’s pieces of art added an immense amount of color to the place. Additionally, not only had the gallery illuminated more, but the art pieces from other artists had also gained a new aura and energy.
